Preston Thomas grew up on his family's cattle ranch outside of Morgan Hill, California. He was attracted to California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, because of its reputation in the field of agriculture and business. Preston graduated from Cal Poly in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ag Business, with a concentration in finance, appraisal and real estate. He received his California Department of Real Estate license in 2003, and is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Urban Land Institute, and the San Luis Obispo Property Owners Association.
Preston's real estate career began while still attending college when he joined the real estate appraisal firm of Schenberger, Taylor, McCormick and Jecker as an assistant appraiser. His appraisal experiences allowed him to gain firsthand knowledge of real estate and experience in the local real estate industry.
Preston began working at Rossetti Company in 2006, and completed
more than 35 sale and lease transactions during his first
year in the business. Preston's focus is on all three areas
of commercial real estate – retail, office and industrial.
He has specialized in lease negotiations, representing both
landlords and tenants in the City of San Luis Obispo. He prides
himself on being well-versed on the current commercial trends
and changes in the real estate market on the central coast.
He is informed and up-to-date at all times on the local market.
He looks forward to helping clients with all of their sales
and leasing needs.
