John Rossetti graduated from the University of Southern California School of Business in 1975, with honors. His area of emphasis was real estate and corporate finance.

John became a licensed real estate broker with the California Department of Real Estate in 1975 and started his own company in Santa Barbara, California in 1976. In 1977, John moved to San Luis Obispo, California, and incorporated as John Rossetti, Inc.

John specializes in commercial real estate brokerage, property management, and development in San Luis Obispo County and north Santa Barbara County. John has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers since 1984. In 2004, John earned the outstanding ICSC title of Certified Shopping Center Manager, designating him as highly qualified in the field of management. John is proud to say that Rossetti Company has the major market share in San Luis Obispo and enjoys a solid reputation in the community today.

John has been involved with many large shopping center projects in San Luis Obispo, including Madonna Plaza, Marigold Center, Laguna Village Shopping Center, University Square, Foothill Plaza, Bear Valley Center and Smart and Final. Additionally, he has owned and developed office projects such as the Granada Building, the O'Leary Building, and his current office building, Chorro Pacific.
